Well, readers, Google has switched its Blogger over to a new format. I can't find anything about it that is improved, but that might be codgerism. Most all the changes are on the back end and not visible to readers.
However, there is one thing and that is sad for me and the blog: I cannot place the pictures so that the text wraps around them. I love placing the pictures amid the text. Nonetheless, until something changes or I learn the trick (hoping there is a trick), I'll just put the pictures at the end.
If any of you know a work-around (hack?) or a bonafide procedure, please let me know!

DeleteThe new blogger format is just AWFUL. Of course, people can learn tricks to navigate, etc, but that doesn't make it NOT awful.

ReplyDeleteBut here we are talking. About uploading blogger photos. I don't think it's possible now. The interface we are getting. We will have to adopt that.

ReplyDeleteBack to Samuel Bowles and Man in the moon poem— couldn’t the negative comment re Holiday (s) refer the the alcoholic film that drinking sometimes produces?
ReplyDeleteNo, I really don't think so. She is writing about how much she misses the man and how she takes comfort in the moon that she likens to him. She is greatly pained if even clouds block her vision of 'him'. But even that blocking is better than learning he were dead. It's hard to substitute that take with 'if he had been drinking too much at Christmas' or somesuch.
